You taught me to appreciate the sweetness of a tree-ripened pear and the thrill of hunting for mushrooms in the forest, the importance of family ties, and a hug from a friend.

You made me resourceful and hungry for knowledge. And your bread is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best in the whole wide world.
